Editorial Policy
Our Commitment
MeteringLab is committed to publishing accurate, independent, and original technical content about the global metering industry. This editorial policy explains how we create content and how we ensure its quality and integrity.
Originality
All articles published on MeteringLab are original works. We do not reproduce content from other publications. Where we reference findings, data, or quotes from third parties, we attribute them clearly with source links. We take plagiarism seriously and will correct or remove any content found to infringe third-party rights.
Accuracy
Technical claims are verified against primary sources — official standards documents, peer-reviewed publications, or direct statements from manufacturers. Where a fact cannot be verified to our editorial standard, we state that clearly or do not publish it.
AI-Assisted Content
Some articles on MeteringLab are produced with the assistance of AI writing tools. All AI-generated content is:
- Reviewed for technical accuracy before publication
- Cross-checked against authoritative primary sources
- Written to be original and not derivative of any specific copyrighted work
- Subject to the same editorial standards as human-written content
We do not publish AI output verbatim without editorial review.
Corrections
If you identify an error in our content, please contact us at contact form. We will investigate and publish corrections promptly. We do not silently edit published articles — corrections are noted at the end of the relevant article.
No Pay-to-Play
Editorial coverage on MeteringLab is not for sale. We do not accept payment for positive reviews, rankings, or article placement. Sponsored content, if any, will be clearly labelled as such and separated from editorial content.
Standards References
When we reference international standards (IEC, ANSI, EN, OIML, etc.), we cite the specific standard number and edition. We explain and summarise standards for educational purposes; we do not reproduce standards text. Readers should obtain official copies of standards from the relevant standards body.
Trademark Policy
We mention manufacturer and product names in an editorial context only. We do not use third-party trademarks as part of our own brand identity, and we do not imply any commercial relationship with the companies we write about.
